January 12, 2005 – Hazloc Heaters™, a manufacturer of industrial unit heaters for hazardous and severeduty locations, is proud to introduce the Steam Rig Heater (SRH) series of heatexchanger unit heaters.
The SRH series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for steam applications on drilling rigs where boiler neglect can lead to freeze-up conditions. During an accidental freeze-up the SafeDeform™ core headers are designed to accommodate ice expansion. The SRH series is designed for pressures up to 100 psi in single-pass configurations only. SRH heaters meet ASME requirements with a CRN (0H6664.2) to conform to the Alberta Safety Codes Act.
SRH heaters are interchangeable with other brands of heaters for greater flexibility. SRH heaters are designed with cabinet dimensions and mounting holes equivalent to a major competitor’s heaters. Furthermore, the SRH’s rugged replacement cores are also designed to slide into equivalent sizes of their heaters. An added benefit is Hazloc Heaters’ 18-month heater warranty!
